</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">Does this look familiar?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">Since a very young age, we have all been asked similar questions like these. Looking into the future can be a very healthy, but it is also obsessive. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"><span> </span>Dreaming about your future when you are in elementary school can be fun and it <span></span><span></span>allows creativity to flow throughout your mind. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"><span> </span>But, Looking at yearly salaries when you are in middle school is over the top.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"><span> </span>Thinking about marriage and the perfect wedding is every young girls dream!</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"><span> </span>However, deciding the exact qualities you want in a spouse, including hair and eye <span></span> color is absurd. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">So, where is the line between being healthy and obsessive?? </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">It depends on your level of trust in our Lord and Savior. Do you have complete 100% in God for everything in your life? It’s a lot easier said than done. Have you ever had a back up plan… just in case the GOD OF ALL CREATION doesn’t come through for us? </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">Proverbs 3:5-6</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">“Trust in the LORD with all your heart </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"> and lean not on your own understanding; </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"><span> </span>in all your ways submit to him, </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"> and he will make your paths straight.”</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">There are several verses in the Bible that are commonly memorized and recited among Christians. This is one of those verses that most people are familiar with, almost too familiar. Christians, including myself, have a tendency to read through this verse very quickly because we already know it, but do we really understand it and take it to heart? </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">We need to trust in the LORD with ALL our heart and lean NOT on our own understanding. If God called you to go to South Africa for missions, would you trust Him all the way and know it would glorify Him or would you start thinking about how if you went to South Africa, you wouldn’t know how you would get financial aid so it might be a better idea to stay where you are, in a comfortable atmosphere. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">Here’s a more common example… One day you were talking with your friend over lunch and during lunch, God gives you an amazing opportunity to share the Gospel with that friend. Would you take that opportunity and trust in God completely because you know that He will give you the words to say, or would you start thinking about how your friend might judge you for your faith and maybe you might even lose your friend? Would you disobey God and lean on your own understanding?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">“In all your ways submit to him, </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";"> and he will make your paths straight.”</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">Definition of Submit: To give over to the power or authority of another.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">In all your ways, give over everything to God! Surrender your life entirely to Him alone, and HE will make your paths straight! That is such a comforting promise. That does not mean our paths will be easy, but our paths will be headed in the right direction, with God at our side!</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: "Baskerville Old Face";">Do not worry about tomorrow (Matthew 6:34), and worship God today. Focus on growing in your relationship with Him each and every day! Learn who God really is, and take it to heart. Meditate on His word day and night, so that you can trust Him with your life!</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />

<div class="MsoNormal">Over Thanksgiving break, I found myself constantly giving thanks. There is never too much to be thankful for. Each year I thank God for the big blessings in my life such as, my family, friends, church, and God Himself. But sometimes, I forget the smaller things. I forget how fortunate I am to own my own Bible, never mind multiple Bibles. I forget that being able to SEE the Bible with two eyes is a blessing. Being able to HEAR music and worship God through music is something to be extremely thankful for! We are called to enter God’s gates with thanksgiving! There is so much to be thankful for, all the way from being able to walk on a daily basis to God’s unconditional love for us, that He would send His one and only son to the cross for us! </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">I love the song called “Jesus, Thank You,”</div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">“The mystery of the cross I cannot comprehend,<br />
The agonies of Calvary.<br />
You, the Perfect Holy One, crushed Your Son,<br />
Drank the bitter cup reserved for me.<br />
<br />
Your blood has washed away my sin,<br />
Jesus, thank You.<br />
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied,<br />
Jesus, thank You.<br />
Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table,<br />
Jesus, thank You.<br />
<br />
By Your perfect sacrifice I’ve been brought near,<br />
Your enemy made Your friend.<br />
Pouring out the riches of Your glorious grace,<br />
Your mercy and your kindness know no end.<br />
<br />
Your blood has washed away my sin,<br />
Jesus, thank You.<br />
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied,<br />
Jesus, thank You.<br />
Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table,<br />
Jesus, thank You.”</div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">I can’t comprehend what God has done for us, but by His perfect sacrifice I have been brought near to Him. His blood has washed away all my sin! I once lived a life running away from God, but now I am with Him! “Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table,” is an amazing verse in this song. It takes an incredible amount of forgiveness and love to have your enemy now sitting with you at the same table! God has given us an undeserved gift, we should be forever thankful!</div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />

Some people have a desire to update their family and friends about their lives, while others blog to expand their writing and thinking skills. I created a blog to share the truth about our God, to share my amazement for Him and to focus on God alone. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">My inspiration while writing this blog comes from John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Living in New England in 2010, God is rarely a topic that is discussed, worshiped or praised. God needs to increase in the lives of many! My desire of this blog is to focus on God and not on myself. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal"><i>Who is God?<o:p></o:p></i></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">God is the creator of the heavens and earth. He made the world and everything in it. Revelation 4:11 says, “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things and by Your will they were created and have their being.” </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">God sent His one and only son into the world to die for US! He took all our sins on His shoulders as he endured the cross, so that we will be free of the burden of sin, and live an everlasting life in heaven, if we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness from our Savior! God loves us unconditionally and we are His masterpiece made in His own image. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal">God is... Loving, majestic, selfless, faithful, almighty, omnificent, all-knowing, fair, incomparable and lastly God is INDESCRIBABLE! He is far better than any words that are used to describe Him.</div><div class="MsoNormal"><br />
